During my 2026 AWS Global Accelerator internship, I built a Rust/Tokio proxy to replace NGINX.
Load testing
I built a test for 50,000 connections per second. It collected metrics and flamegraph data in three minutes, compared with about 30 minutes for the previous comparable test.
Benchmarks
The proxy reduced p99 latency by 23% and increased throughput by 3% in benchmarks reported on my résumé. The implementation and benchmark artifacts are internal.
